God’s Grace and Love to Overcome the Obstacles

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

My mom’s passing went completely over my head. I felt and knew within my heart that my mom was no longer suffering. Knowing this brought so much peace within. My spirit inwardly lost that natural umbilical cord, which holds a mother and child together at birth and throughout life. The attachment to having the safety of a mother being there for you was gone forever. My mom was sick a lot during her lifetime, and God gave me the comfort of knowing she was at peace now.

No one will ever know the true pain of losing their mom until they actually experience this moment in life.

Yes, it is true we all have to deal with it one day, but when you lose your immediate family on a day-to-day basis, it makes it really hard. I ended up dropping those courses at school. My focus and understanding was not making any sense to me at that time.

There were moments in my life that my mom passing away was harder to deal with than others. Today, it is still hard because my mother is gone forever. Oh, but God’s loving mercy and grace has given me the strength to go on. In my prayer, I trust Him to give me the love that I need in the place of my mother. For other people, it might be a brother, sister, father, husband, spouse, or whoever they needed during your lowest point in life. Through television ministry, faith, belief, prayer from the latest church family that I joined, and most of all, the grace given from Almighty God invoked me to trust and believe in God’s truth as the only way to live. There was no other way. Losing my mom was the breaking point for me. I needed peace and closure that only God could give me in my life.

God strengthened me to go back to school, and I had a great support system. I’ve had some illness, but I trust God for continual healing on a daily basis. I re-enrolled in school, and from that moment forward, failure was not an option. I was working so hard to be a blessing to my parents that I could not allow for it not to be completed. My family and I recognized that God is faithful and will heal us continually within. “My Lord, in Jesus’s Mighty Name” enhanced my physical and mental capacity to reach the fullest potential. And through Him and only Him, I could focus on His goal for my life. Storms came at my family from all directions, but God gave me enough wisdom to turn to Him for defeat during adversity. It didn’t matter how weak I felt or how much I wanted to give up, God’s loving protection and grace would not allow me to.
